Hello,

I am new to this forum but would love some constructive feedback on my new Kickstarter campaign after seeing how knowledgeable everyone is here. I have been live for 3 days and seem to have little action. I planned ahead with pages on Prefundia, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc. I would be very appreciative if anyone could check out my campaign and let me know if you have any suggestions. http://kck.st/1qCvLhh

No. That is my original chrome COLORED version and it is very different. That is made of plastic and has very different knives. My Kickstarter campaign explains all the differences between that plastic version and the new, metal version. It's a very different product based on feedback from consumers who wished the plastic version was improved and made of metal. Maybe that is not clear enough in the campaign?

Got a message saying:

"The Ex" Voodoo Knife Holder- Metal Edition is the subject of an intellectual property dispute and is currently unavailable."

Long story...I have had a license and manufacturing agreement with the designer since 2007 giving me all the business and decision making rights in the product. The designer is VERY difficult to work with and he is claiming IP right issues while failing to tell Kickstarter we have a signed agreement in force.

Once I straighten it out with Kickstarter it should continue from where the campaign left off. Unfortunately, Kickstarter tells me this could take 3 weeks! Ugh.

I saw that message a little earlier, when I was browsing projects posted on the forum here. Get it straightened out. I think that it's a nice product, and metal is the way to go. It's a nice looking product, it really is.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the support. Will get it straightened out eventually. It's difficult enough to run a campaign without these issues but I guess it's par for the course.
