Hello,

My name is Sally and I reside with my husband, Ian, on the Spanish country side, at the top of the mountains right behind the city of Málaga. We are an English family that finds joy in simple living. Over the years, we have worked very hard over to learn how to live off the land (i.e. cultivating and eating seasonal vegetables, transforming natural resources on the land such as Carobs, olives, and almonds into natural products, raising chickens/goats/pigs, etc.)

Our goal is to raise enough money through the Kickstarter campaign to make our land more self-sufficient, so that we can educate others on how to introduce and sustain organic and natural means of cooking, eating, and living. We envision a more sustainable future and hope that with our project, we can assist others with creating more self-sufficient living, reducing our impact on the environment, preserving natural resources, and promoting overall healthy and rewarding lifestyles.

We would appreciate any assistance, tips, or pointers as we embark on this journey and even hope to eventually have you on board as a backer. Thank you for reading and we look forward to hearing from you.

Haven´t gotten too much feedback on our project. Learning that it helps to have a Kickstarter link. Will be updating this soon with our link so that others can learn more about our project. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on this thread. Thanks for reading! =]

Make sure that you add the link to your Kickstarter project in your forum signature, as well. I will often encounter a Kickstarter by clicking on forum signature links faster than I will by encountering a dedicated thread, although having both helps.

Thanks Charles, I´ll be sure to do that because I agree, I have found it easier to go to kickstarter projects through the signature link than anything else. Thanks for the tip!

We have a lot of help from our workawayers (a help exchange site) that are helping us to get everything going. We´re planning on launching in October. So for now, we are just marketing and finalizing everything. We should be finalizing the Kickstarter page any day now and I imagine once that happens, we will at least be able to get more feedback about the page and the project. Hoping these forums and other avenues such as Facebook and Twitter help us to spread the word about our project. Thanks for inquiring. Your preview link didn´t work but once I clicked on the Kickstarter link in your signature, I was able to get to your page just a heads up. It seems like you´ve done your research and its good that you have multiple venues (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc). I didn´t get to see any kind of video or images or anything like that so I´don´t have much feedback to leave with regards to your page itself. Your app is definitely a one of a kind it seems, which can make the marketing of it a little difficult but at the same time, this also means its unique. Continue marketing and spreading the word and best of luck as you approach launching!

Hi Sally, I don't have nay helpful tips or advice for you, being a newbie to all this myself, but I just wanted to say what a great cause I think you have. These are similar to the goals my family is working towards as well. Food and other products sold in the grocery stores just do not seem safe to me anymore.
