Speakeasy is a new take on the social deduction party game genre popularized by games like Werewolf and the Resistance that is currently halfway through its Kickstarter campaign.

If you like those games, check it out. What I'd really love is some feedback on how the campaign page is shaping up headed into the last two weeks of the campaign. Any Kickstarter veterans out there have feedback on that?

Thanks!

Woah - you guys are doing pretty well! What has been effective for you in terms of marketing and getting backers?

The second day of the campaign I mentioned the Kickstarter staff in a tweet and the next day we were a staff pick on the homepage... that is more of a lucky fluke than a marketing strategy though. The most effective "marketing" has just been to try to add value to other folks out there either by backing or giving feedback on their game, having a real conversation at a game conference, or just basically being a normal, nice person who is interested in things and to try not to spam people with my project.
