My co-author and I write a lot of fantasy stories, but we include equal elements of romance. Not Twilight, mind you, since we actually include the sex. Not Anita Blake either, since there isn't such an abundance of it. I guess we sort of compare our books to Mercedes Lackey or the Sookie Stackhouse series.
So our Kickstarter is off to a decent start compared to our last crowdfunding attempt, but we also requested half the amount. We were starting literally from nothing last time. Now we require a little oomph to help.
I'm slightly worried. We're at 9 % with 22 days remaining. It's only 500 dollars, but something we sorely need to meet our editor's fees.
In the time since launch, we've received tons of spam mail and emails from people offering to sell us packages. Are these any good? Do they actually work?
Secondly, I'll pledge 1-5 dollars in return if you meet the same pledge with mine. Limited to the first couple of people.

I would recommend googling the names of the companies that offered you services. Most have some form of reviews.

I never received so many emails and messages like this with our first campaign. So weird to receive an abundance now this time.

Decided to try something. Willing to pledge up to five dollars for two campaigns for equal pledges.

Good luck, your art looks amazing! wish I could spare 20 LOL Maybe if bills don't consume me within the next six days I can step up my donation before your funding ends.
