Our Second Attempt and Lessons Learned From the First

After 8 months, we are back on the Kickstarter pre-launch page with a new attempt to get our product funded and unleash our unique invention to the world!

Right out of the gate, you can see that we have gone with a professional picture of our product, vs a render like the old product. We believe the confidence this will provide the customer should help get us traction at first glance. You also may notice that the product has a new name and that it's far more enhanced and advanced than it's predecessor. However, we haven't gotten the followers on the pre-launch page that we might have expected to, in comparison to the last time.
New methods of getting the word out, such as utilizing a PR firm, have been attempted. We're interviewing different agencies to try to find one to provide us with a helping hand, and it has been determined that our reddit push will happen on the first days of our product actually launching.
When the campaign goes live, users will see a high-quality production video. We spent A LOT of our marketing budget on this video, but what good is a nice video is no one watches it?!? We'll be pinching pennies, using all our credit, and bootstrapping the heck out of this campaign in the hope to get the word out in a way where the marketing hopefully pays for itself! However, part of this will include paying people to create nice graphics for a part of the campaign. It's quite a conundrum.
The reward tiers have been thinned out to not overwhelm the user with a lot of options. The funding goal will be lowered in hopes that we can get funded quicker and at least see some return on our marketing investment.
All in all, our journey is quite a puzzling one (as we imagine it is for most campaign creators with a finite budget). ANY ADVICE you have is welcome, and we hope you can wish us luck in our endeavors.
