Can a campaign that didn't start with any momentum succed?

I started my Kickstarter campaign that has a halloween vibe on hallowen, I tought hat it would make a natural boost but it seems to have been a bust it has been growing painfully slowlyI plan on continuing promotin gand reaching out but I don't know if everything will be in vain or not what do you think?
