Much better than Kickstarter from our experience! One reason: it doesn't have restrictions for non-Americans

Good point! Not all countries are allowed to use Kickstarter.

I also enjoy the flex billing, it really gives us the chance to grow while making our campaign better and live up to the cause right before your eyes!

ive only experienced indiegogo so i cant say it was easier to use, still took me months to put together

i certainly LOVE INDIEGOGO tho !

they have great customer support

I heard the Flexible Funding can be tricky if you have a gadget/invention/product that has slim margins. With the added commission it makes it hard for some to follow through on promises without going in the red.

I like a lot of the features of Indiegogo, but I've found that Kickstarter is where the funding is. KS might learn a thing or two from IGG, but without a community of deep-pocketed backers that stumble upon my project, I can't see using it soon. About 70% of my funding has come from people who discovered me on Kickstarter.

Not sure it is cooler, but it is definitely better if you do not live in the United States.
