I enjoyed reading this article!!! lots of goo tip. I didn't know that one of the best ways to get on the indiegogo homepage is to update the project page daily.
When I read about tips about crowdfunding, it says to update the campaign about 1 a week maybe 2. But they said not to spam people with too many unnecessary updates. So I am not sure what to said about the advice to update daily and become annoying. Just my thoughts!!!

Good read!
I agree, I don't think one of the best ways is to spam supporters. I think it's important to keep supporters updated, but only on milestones or relevant information that will keep them interested.
I think if you spam supporters they might be more likely to retract their donation.

We have started our campaign at Indiegogo

Interesting article. I honestly hadn't considered Indiegogo before. I liked its take-what-you-get aspect for donations if you don't meet goal versus Kickstarter's all-or-nothing model, but liked Kickstarter's wider recognition factor. Maybe it's time to revise that thinking.
