Really good point. I am finding that many people have never even heard of Kickstarter etc.

This is something I am worried about for my upcoming project for a new baby product. I am not sure whether parents of babies are the right crowd for Kickstarter or not.

Yeah, this is so true. Over half of my backers were completely new to Kickstarter. I had to do a lot of educating. So many people have no clue what Kickstarter or crowdfunding is.
