Keep in mind that often times, lack of interest can be the symptom of an underlying problem with your product. Quite simply, it might not be as compelling as you originally thought. Maybe it doesn’t solve a real pain point?

Personally I like go fund me better simply because it's easier for backers to donate money. I also have a social network coming out in December called Slushbox I'm crowd funding for it on Kickstarter! I hope I have a good product , but I don't really know if I have a good product and just not getting traffic, or if I am getting plenty of traffic and my product just sucks.
I do know that my family love it and my sister has ordered one from me.
