How do you educate backers about crowdfunding?

Bart McCurdy asked this question! He’s a member of the CrowdCrux community and wanted to know the best way to go about teaching his Facebook and Twitter followers about crowdfunding.
“Hi Sal, my name is Bart and I’d like to know how you go about educating people about crowdfunding on Facebook or Twitter. The other day I asked people on my Facebook wall if they had any experience with crowdfunding and out of 1,900 friends, I got just a couple of responses. I’d be curious to hear what your answer is.”
Pre-launch education is a crucial phase of a successful crowdfunding campaign. No doubt about it, there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it.
