Hey everyone!

So over the past few weeks I've been researching websites that will promote your startup or Kickstarter. From this research, I've put together a short list on my blog of 9 websites that will help you promote your Kickstarter or Startup. Many successful Kickstarters and startups have used these sites to help promote their product or brand. These websites are useful for those who don't know where to begin or are in need of some extra exposure for their Kickstarter campaign or startup.

Hi Brian, Great post! I think there's quite a few others like ProductHunt, even this forum, Kicktraq etc., Even our site GiftsandCoupons promotes startups and Crowdfunding.

Thanks for checking out our blog! The perfect time to post your campaign on sites like Product Hunt, Kicktraq, Gadget Flow, and Gifts and Coupons is when your Kickstarter is live. Generally you want to get the majority of your backers within the first 2 weeks of your campaign. The key to doing this, based on my research, is by doing two things. The first is to have an audience that follows you on Twitter, Facebook, or via your blog. Sites like Startup Tabs, KickstarterForum, Backer Camp, All Top Startups, and the Startup Pitch can help you get more followers and pre-promotion by getting your brand known to others. The second is having a big launch week, meaning lots of people should be talking about your product on or close to your launch date. This is where Product Hunt, Kicktraq, Gifts & Coupons, and Gadget Flow come in handy. Those are just 4 sites that can help you have a big launch day and really create some buzz for your product. You should also have already contacted other blogs along with those 4 sites to really have a huge impact on launch day. Hope this helps!
