My goal is simple: Demystify the process of launching a successful Kickstarter campaign.

I’m happy to share with you that some of the amazing users on our forum have been willing to help me reach this goal. I asked the question “What have you learned from running a Kickstarter campaign?” and it has garnered over 200 replies!

great post-thanks for sharing. The struggle we are having is the conflicting needs of #12 and #21. Want to keep the ask low, but know that many make the mistake of not asking for enough

I found the quote particularly interesting where someone said, "You find out who your true supporters are." I have encountered this in a very harsh way. For years I have had a number of people telling me they are supporting what I was working toward. Now, when I ask for a small donation to help with my crowdfunding (launching the very thing they encouraged me toward) only one person responded at all.

You will certainly find out who your loyal supporters are.
