Tips on Approaching Newspapers

I'm stuck on what to write/how to approach newspapers on helping to spread the word about my Kickstarter. Does anyone have any tips or advice on that? Thanks!

With PR you need an angle. What sort of a story idea could you tie your campaign into for them?
