Newbie question re: Metrics & Stats

While doing our research I stumbled upon this article http://craigmod.com/journal/kickstartup/ and read it and the links. One of the things that impressed me was his statistical research.

I'm curious where the best repositories are out there for useful metrics and stats regarding Kickstarter or other crowdfunding.

Places where you can grab raw data and crunch it to find out things like key indicators for success, or most pledged amounts. It would be great to be able to see what the norms are without having to manually compile your own list.

Where did you folks go to research any stats or to find out which metrics are the most important to monitor while you're in your campaign?

From what I understand most of the hard data is held by Kickstarter and not readily available to the public at large. The team at HiveWire did a pretty detailed using the data that was available to present "characteristics" that you see in the campaigns that meet their goals.

This link will take you to it:

Kicktraq is a forecasting tool that uses the information available from your campaign to help you see what type of trends are present in your campaign.

That's all that I know of. If anyone else has something additional I'd be interested in knowing as well.

@preeminentteam Thanks, I'd heard of kicktraq but not hivewire's work, and will check it out!
