Can't hammer the marketing strategy enough. You could have the greatest product or cause in the world but if no one knows about it, it's already done. Combine a strong internal marketing plan with the ability for backers to share it creates virality and success.

Anyone can make a similar page to share their campaign on twitter and facebook at the same time.
