I read this a few weeks ago right before we were ready to launch our project for our TV sitcom pilot Big Kids (while we were in review limbo) and I have to say it both gave me a sense of dread ("oh God, can I sustain these emotional ups and downs for a full month?!") and hope ("well, at least I won't ride the emotional roller coaster alone!"). Really it was just nice to read an honest piece on Kickstarter realities, not just some marketing piece trying to sell a "visibility package" or "campaign growth services." Honesty always trumps a sale in my book.

I knew Kickstarter was a roller coaster and involved a lot of work but it seems to be much, much more than I expected! Loving it though

Cheers for this, We're not too far away from launching and the stress levels are rising ha ha!

The funding progress graph was very interesting. The graphical overview gives a real sense oh how the campaign progressed!

" In most cases, funding occurs near the end of the campaign, and the greatest activity is in the first and last 24 to 48 hours. In fact, those two periods often account for more than 50% of the cash raised." That is a very Interesting statistic, I suppose thats when your driving the campaign I suppose?
