Some initial ideas:
- Find people at your local Meetup
- Ask friends and family to introduce you to 3 people who might like your project
- Run ads beyond Facebook/Instagram
- Work with influencers who can give a shoutout to your project
- Pay for ad placements on high-traffic websites for your niche
- Cross-promote to other email lists in your niche (beyond crowdfunding cross-promotion)
- Activate all referral programs you have access to
- Get on a podcast that your backers (and potential backers) like to listen to
- Speak at an event that attracts your niche audience
