Today Kickstarter has renamed the 'Staff Picks' program to ‘Projects We Love’. Kickstarter has reportedly sent out an email stating that creators should remove any 'Staff Picks' badges or branding that they have added to their campaign. The new badge will be automatically added to the thumbnail and if selected your project will be in the projects we love category.

Yes to "Projects we love"

I think I preferred the staff picks :/

Do we know what makes a project picked or doesn't? I can't find a reason some projects are picked, and same thing for projects that are not picked...

they don't want to come accross as endorsing projects, because if a big project fails they could get a lawsuit against them if they endorsed the campaign

'Projects We Love' pretty much denotes the same thing. But yeah, agree with the post above probably has to do with legal standards if the project turns out to be a bust they don't look like they were in their corner so explicitly.

There are still staff picks. Any project that has the heart and says "projects we love" is a staff pick.

Wonder why that changed. Really want my campaign to be chosen but it's on its 3rd launch so no chance that'll happen :l
