Hi all,

Just a quick heads up of a scam. http://www.kickstartersponsor.com are trying to say they helped people they didn't.

They sent me a message through Kickstarter with a now deleted account. I was intrigued and contacted all the people they said they had successes with. Conan said:

"About kickstarter sponsor, don't work with them.
This is scam.
We never worked with them."

Elevation Dock said:

"No, that's a scam. What is their Kickstarter username they contacted you with?"

I'm seeing a trend here!

In the private message, they say "Note: We don’t check our account here regularly, so if you want to get in touch with us, you can use the “Contact Us" page on our website." which is kinda clever as Kickstarter keep deleting their accounts.

Trust them if you want but having accounts getting deleted by Kickstarter and having success stories which they had nothing to do with spells trouble for me!

..but come on guys, a site that looks like it was made on Fiverr, where the pages have numbers in them?

Their claims sound too good to be true? ;/ Their About page has all the info you need to research them.

Thanks for the feedback Captain Obvious! I just wanted fellow Crowdfunders to know my research on this so they didn't have to do it themselves to save precious time during their campaign.

You have to be careful of any promotional messages you get on the Kickstarter or Indiegogo platform. It is against their platform's rules and that is why their accounts get deleted. Our team pays for advertising and build an email list to promote our digital marketing services for campaign owners.

stay away, the best thing you can do, if a company and not an individual contacts you via kickstarter message its a scam

I can't agree with this enough. Any cold promotional message you receive is a scam, you can count on this
