Hey all,
This article details the suspension of Brand & Grotesque's 'Blood Sport' project and covers some possible reasons. It's pure speculation, of course, since Kickstarter doesn't discuss suspensions.

They've got to set boundries somewhere. I assume they wouldn't fund a porn.

I don't see anything wrong with funding porn, to be honest. As long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, it becomes an issue of "morality." Kickstarter is a business, and porn is a huge industry.
My concern with the Blood Sport controller is that it uses a lot of tech from some big names. They probably should have had someone make them a generic controller, at the very least.

I would think that Kickstarter would predict that the consumer protection agency would shut down production of a blood controller. Thus, it is in essence not going to get created even if it were to fund.
