Kickstarter releases 'Creator Handbook'

You can check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/help/handbook

It covers: rewards, promotion, fulfillment, funding, updates, and more.

To be honest, I think it's kind of sparse. They could have gone a lot farther in terms of adding details, examples, and highlighting campaigns. I guess I'm glad they didn't, otherwise there would be no reason to visit CrowdCrux ;) Just kidding!

Thanks for sharing. Yea, with the laxer guidelines, I'm afraid we might see lower quality projects and more competition for creators, but I guess they are a business and it's difficult to maintain that level of curation attention at such a larger scale.

I don't find it helpful at all (definitely more info on this site!) Something that would be nice to hear more about is whether or not to use paid promotion services. Ever since I launched we've had daily emails, KS messages, FB messages, and even Twitter messages from companies claiming that they can get me more traffic on my campaign. Seems a bit shady, to say the least. Would prefer to pay for results, but even that seems counter-intuitive if the cost is high.

How would you guys modify it? I appreciated its brevity, but it left a lot of questions unanswered, especially after finally launching my project.
