This invention created by Mats Horn, called the Tinitell, is a mobile phone device designed with kids and parents in mind, but can be used for a wide range of purposes. With 12 days to go this campaign has reached over $140K. These devices look like a watch, and are water resistant, include voice recognition, open-source capability, as well as gsp and forwarding capabilities.

It is easy to administer the telephone numbers that can call your Tinitell. You can limit incoming calls to a pre-defined set of telephone numbers from our app or website. You can also assign numbers that will be answered automatically by Tinitell, without the user having to answer with a button-push.

In short, the app and web dashboard give you full control — and piece of mind. Finally your kids can be outside exploring as kids should be.

I think that if these products work as well as they're supposed to they will be pretty great. It's refreshing to see a piece of technology geared towards children with safety in mind that is supposed to help them be free to go outside and explore.

That's a fantastic video.. very simple and focuses on selling the product, rather than dwelling on the technology!

Have you seen the video on their website? Has a real Wes Anderson feel to it! Amazing.
