How do you feel about him buying a brand new car?

A fool and their money...

So far, he hasn't delivered on anything.

His kickstarter page hasn't been updated since the drive ended.

His website hasn't mentioned word one about production on his "show".

He did very little on his site before but does even less now, not that too many people are complaining because his reviews are poorly written and the studio influence is obvious.

And now he has bought a car that someone estimated to be around 24 to 28K.

It's been over 3 months and not a single thing has come of this kickstarter, except Harry's new car.

I wish someone could look into the matter more. Can't say I feel sorry for the people that donated though. No one put a gun to their heads and had they the sense to look into Harry's shady past, they wouldn't have given him a cent.

Hey Thunder, I'll look into this more. This thread is probably better suited to the "Fraud Watch" section. Maybe Sal can move it over there for us. I'll try and contact Mr. Knowles and see if we can get an update.

Thanks for contacting him VaporStarter. Thanks for letting us know about this thunder_storm :). Moved this thread to the "fraud watch" section. Please spread the word about this section for other backers that have concerns regarding a campaign.

Heard back from Harry, he said:

"We have been working on them and they are being fulfilled on time."

I sure can't tell by looking at site updates. However I did find this note from Harry in the comments:

"...We've been contacting everyone in private messages and will post some exciting updates soon."

Maybe someone who has actually backed can provide some additional information, as Harry is playing this project close to the chest.

Thank you for the update, Vapor.

He has been playing the whole thing close to the chest. There isn't a single iota of a plan anywhere on his Kickstarter page, which one reason I find it so hard to believe he was able to raise that cash, although a huge chunk of it did come from Hollywood players such Gullermo Del Toro, Peter Jackson and Rian Johnson. I understand there is nothing wrong with that (not that I know if) but the problem is he was able to fund his first season and now cannot fund a second season. As to explanations for these discrepancies, they're as readily accessible as his plans for what he would do with the money generated by this kickstarter program -- i.e. zilch!

I guess this would be considered irrelevant, but Harry was having IRS problems for a while. Apparently he owed them around $300,000 in unpaid taxes. This is actual, not hearsay. He had these problems around the middle of last year, or at least was informed of them at that time.

If that's true, wow, monstrous sum to own in taxes.

Does him doing the kickstarter and then going out and buying a 20k car constitute a fraud? He can always just say he bought the car with his income from the site.
