Are performance based agencies a scam?

Basically every marketing agency claims to be performance based, but then asks for an upfront fee. Seems disingenuous to me, because working on commission entails zero upfront. What's your opinion on all these agencies?

Yes I think they all do that to get your attention. Just face the facts: if you want to do some marketing then you are going to have to pay some money.

If they are not performance based then they must be a scam. Some agencies will like and say they are - check out a situation where this happened:

Some are and some aern't. I've read great things about Funded Today but i've also read bad things too
