    Can Jellop make a difference?

    by Fountee » Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:43 pm

I'll be launching a new campaign next year, and often i find myself lost in thought as to which marketing agencies I should work with, and which ones I should not. For example Jellop is a well known facebook ad partner. Nice and very nice. I see nothing bad about them but there is one big problem. How can I persuade them to work with me before I have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars? They work on commission which is a must from me, and they even seem to cover the costs of advertising for me, which is another must have in an agency for me.

With a real performance marketing I say yes that a difference will be made.

They seem to be one of the better agencies from what I see

I think that they can, and I think that they will.

Jellop is perhaps the best facebook ad agency for crowdfunding.

I know this is an old post, but I don't believe the question was ever answered. My understanding is, they won't work with anyone pre-campaign. They come on after a campaign has raised at least $100k. Can anyone else validate this?

It also depends on your budget, consider that as well.

Hi, the people launching the KLIK campaign (active now) have a goal of 9k and only raised 80k. They have been using Jellop from day one. I don't think the 100k is the only requirement. Looks like they will work with you in certain scenarios. Klik has a very polished, professional campaign backed by a large team. That might hold a lot of weight and/or they might have paid a large up front fee.

PS - here's the auto reply they send out when you contact them:

    Hi there!

Thanks again for your interest in working with us.

We’re a small team with very limited bandwidth. Thus, we have to focus on project where we believe we can make a real impact, and that’s usually projects of over $200,000.

If your Kickstarter project is live and is trending toward $200,000 or more - we’ll contact you shortly.

If your Kickstarter project isn’t live yet - please reply to this email with a project page preview (doesn’t have to be 100% ready but should include the finalized video and rewards structure), and we’ll take a look.

If your Kickstarter project is live but its funding rate is lower than $200,000 (that is, $100,000 halfway through) - then we’re not going to be able to help you this time. Please feel free to reach out when you’re launching your next Kickstarter. Same goes if you’re running a campaign on Indiegogo or some other platform - then we’re not going to be able to help you this time

    All the best,
    The Jellop Team
