Dutch courage for this fashion project - what are my odds?

I am an ordinary Londoner. A British self taught designer and a small dream to smash a BIG problem.

I am risking it all, alone. So need all the courage and support I can get as I ask for £100,000 in 60 days. Oh and did I mention I am running the campaign all alone, on a shoe string budget. it is hard for me to get support from some of the countries as they do not understand the whole CF platform concept. So hence I had to create the project and then go knocking on doors.

Some questions.
1. I am doing it alone. Asking for £100,000 in 60 days and running it on a shoestring budget. Anyone else done this?

2. I need global philanthropists, mass media global titles and TV shows such as Oprah - anyone know how to reach these people, as unsolicited emails will not work.

3. Anyone else asked project's whom you have funded, only to find they are not that helpful once they get success - they seem to pull the ladder up after them? Real reluctance to give a shout out to their own backers. Fair enough. Me - I won't do that. I'd tweet it out. I also know I would do it in a way, that will not upset people (if they care enough to pledge, follow, they care about you or your project). You then come across as someone who genuinely also cares about seeing other projects come alive. Do you agree? Would you do the same?

4. Any advice to me?
