Risks and Challenges sections on Kickstarter vary from a 1-sentence "there will be challenges, we'll deal" to multiparagraph breakdowns of every foreseen challenge and preparations that have been made.

What's sort of R&C section do you think will get more backing on a project?

One where there aren't many risks and challenges. Keep it short and to the point. I saw a long blurb one time which wrote about acts of god and if the campaign owner got a heart attack ;/

.Keep it general - it's just to let your backers know you intend to deliver. Here's some text we've used:

"Development of (our device) is smooth and on schedule. Only a completely unpredictable event such as the shortage of some key material could delay our production, and then only temporarily. This is one of the best-planned projects ever, and we are both confident of, and committed to, delivering a quality product on time.

Long enough to let readers know you are aware of any, but not so long where people think there's a ton of risk

We want the truth. Either be accountable to your work or get the hell out. We are tired of the constant failures on kickstarter and the scams, and we will not tolerate it any longer.
