Hi guys.
In less than month we are launching our first Kickstarter campaign, and we are as much excited as we are scared. We decided to go solo, without a help from crowdfunding marketing agencies, and we are on planing to collect 70.000 euros in pleadges.

Our product is Holomite, the first family virtual assistant with holographic pet. It is equiped with voice activated commands that include: baby monitor, the virtual pet, music player, encyclopedia, story teller, alarms and more.

We are on planing to sell it for 149 euros, as a kickstarter special offer.

Here are some images and a quick promo video from the product which is still in prototype phase.

At the moment we are implementing our pre-launch marketing strategy and planing on continuing with the creation of the main promotion strategy.

We would really like to hear all of your oppinions on the product.

WIthout looking at the video, what is it? It sounds a bit like an app (which alot/most big agencies won't promote anyway).

Hi hyperstarter, no it is not an app, the app is just an addon. You can see the virtual assistant on the top of the image and the video. Its a voice controlled family virtual assistant with holographic pet.

What do your pre-launch marketing and promotion plans look like?

Hey Tom, we are focused on the relations with the media. We are soon releasing our first PR text, also have already booked two local interviews. Also while doing this we are building our twitter following, Already have like 2k followers, and some great feedback on twitter. We are finishing out our website holomite.com so we can collect mail leads from the PR campaign. This is our main focus now.

Very interesting and I think since Mattel presented Barbie in the same cube there will be demand for this technology, Here is barbie. I like your design more.

The only thing that is bit confusing, that you will have a feature of voice message. Voice message from a fish is not the best idea, I would present it some other way.

The fish has a symbolic meaning as well as technical, we needed a pet that can float or fly so it displays best on the hologram. Also technology now can give voices to fishes which for the most part do not make any sound >)
