Hey,
We are a startup Graphic Designs firm and we recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to see what would happen.
To our surprise (Ish), on day 1 (also my birthday). We launched and on day 2. Kaboom - Goal reached.
If there is anything I will recommend to somebody who is new is:
1 - Support other people, it is very good Karma and it definitely comes back around.
2 - Even if your goal is £100, start at £25 - trust me...
The reason being is that platforms like Kickstarter return your money to pledgers if you do not reach your goal. Anything on top of your goal is a bonus but anything under it is a swing and miss. The worst thing that can happen which I have seen is people missing a £1000 goal by £10 and having a life changing £9,990 sent right back to the amazing supporter... Gutted.
Take this advice and trust me, you'll at least be able to keep your money, create bigger and better projects.
As of the first recommendation. Support our Kickstarter here ==> bit.ly/101Kickstarter
Many thanks and good luck on your journey!
