Horror Film Kickstarter - Advice and Feedback

    by Simonklam » Sat Nov 21, 2015 9:27 pm

    Hello everyone!

My name is Simon, and I'm currently working on a Kickstarter for an epic horror film called the Unkindness of Ravens!

We have 19 days left to go now on our £40,000 goal, and already have a really great selection of rewards.

We would love for people to check it out and offer us your thoughts, or any feedback and advice on how we can improve our campaign.

    Here is the link below:

    Thank you!

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

Love the campaign. I'm actually surprised as you've created tiers for your movie that people can actually back. I've seen so many movie campaigns where they offer stickers to tshirts, which is rubbish really. You're offering DVDs and box sets, which is why you're getting the backers.

The film looks great. I'd probably want to see more info on:
The director, writer and actor. Specific examples of what they've worked on, awards etc., it will help you gain backers trust.

How long does the film last? It looks like a story of the inner turmoil of the lead actor and his dreams/nightmares, which has been done before. I think it reminds me a bit of the Nick Cave film with Guy Pearce in it, I forgot the name.

Who have you marketed this to, which sites/influencers have mentioned this campaign?
