What is your success rate using Ayudos?

I was considering using one of their packages. Wondering if anyone has had success with them?

    Thanks

I just got done with a brief interaction with Ayudos and do not recommend them. Let me state that this isn't a revenge post. I'm disappointed and a week of my campaign time has been wasted, and others should know the truth of their actions. I did manage to get a refund (from Paypal, not Ayudos), so I'm not slamming them because of that either. There are complaints online saying what I'm about to say but in a nutshell here are details of the problems I ran into...

    *Paid for $59 package.

*Initial emails come from David D. (featured@ayudos.com) Told to work with Mike directly, and then David is non-existent. (Gmail actually shows Mike at (featured@ayudos.com) as well as his own email. Odd, I don't know.

*Sent numerous emails with specific questions, and asking for an update over the span of 7 days with no replies. More than happy to post them all!

*File dispute with Paypal (day 8) in anticipation of any problems when I ask for refund.

*Ask to cancel and for a refund today (day 8), and immediately get a reply with excuses that my emails ended up in a spam folder. Hmmm. Good timing you got the cancellation email though. Cancelled dispute thinking everything was going to be ok.

*Mike provided me with a horrible press release that had a title claiming my project was live on Kickstarter, when I am in fact on Indiegogo. Other numerous inaccuracies throughout campaign. He sent 2nd email within minutes with "stats" if you can call 2 google links stats.

*I replied to that email within minutes asking if we could make changes, and again, no reply. Sent another shortly after, and again, no reply. If you're THAT busy then you need to hire an assistant or two because this is VERY important and time sensitive when days are ticking off the campaign clock.

*Looked at my "stats" provided to me (one of 2 shortened google links)... 3000+ CLICKS on link to campaign in less than 24 hour period last week, over 95% from Internet Explorer. After that, flat, no clicks whatsoever. I have checked my website, and campaign stats, and on average a 24 hour period delivers a tiny fraction of that for IE. Even when I had spikes from other social activity, there was never a graph that looked so outrageous. Certainly seems like a bot or click farming but without IP's to confirm it's just a feeling in my gut that the results are fake. Would love to get my hands on more granular data including IP addresses because unless there's that many people in less than a 24 hour period that use IE vs Chrome, Safari and Firefox combined to click on that one link I just don't believe it.

*Doubtful a refund would happen, called Paypal back and explained situation, who then reimbursed me. Sounded like Paypal wasn't happy to find out about all of the complaints and comments online all saying the same thing going back months, and is going to be investigating.

I'm sickened that I wasted a week of my campaign time and really hope that they change their ways or close up shop because they're only hurting people that have put a ton of work into their campaigns.

I hope this helps someone before they waste their time and money. And I pray I can find someone who can help with PR/Marketing I can trust. I'm doing a lot on my own, but crowdfunding projects and startups do need professional help. Not vultures trying to make a buck with false promises and poor execution.

    Hello Jason,

First I would like to personally apologize for any inconvenience caused to you or your campaign and we do agree that time is of the essence in any crowdfunding project.

We recently had some technical problems with our emails and yes some of your emails did in fact end up in our spam folders. But that is no excuse for the lack of communication from our team members and your product manager which I also apologize about.

I am glad that you received a refund and we would have provided you one as well like we would have done for any other unsatisfied client.

I don't won't to make excuses for what happened to your project but this is a small business made up of real people, we are not perfect and we do make mistakes. All companies make mistakes , big and small. All businesses have critics and unsatisfied customers/ clients.

I would also like to state that we have worked with hundreds of very successful projects this year alone and that can be seen on our homepage and our service overview as well. (http://ayudos.com/crowdfunding-promotio ... -overview/)

Now to say that we are "vultures" give "false promises" and are "hurting people" is misleading because we have more successful campaigns and satisfied clients than unsatisfied. If it were the other way around, wouldn't there be hundreds of negative reviews and feedback about our services ?

Because of this we plan on opening up a forum and support section on our site along with a testimonial / review section so potential clients and crowdfunding creators and make their own decisions based on our successes and failures over the past year of our work in the crowdfunding industry.

I wish you good luck and hope you have a much more successful experience in the future with crowdfunding as well.

    Good luck ,

Not necessarily. People often don't bother posting complaints, even when it pertains to online matters.

Of the two postings in question, Jason's is far and away the more persuasive of the two. If anything, your posting lends credibility to what he posted. You acknowledge both technical problems and a lack of communication. Posting a "personal" apology here comes across more as an exercise in damage control, particularly since you didn't bother to explain why your company suffered from a lack of communication, on top of the supposed technical difficulties, nor what you intend to do to compensate him for the lost time.

What about the matter of David becoming non-existent?

What about the press release that couldn't even get which crowd funding site it was being done through correct?

Basically, you failed to address several of his complaints. Of course, perhaps no one will notice details of that nature.

Why don't you do this, Mike - promote his project (or a project of his choosing, if his has already concluded and he doesn't plan to launch another), with your company footing the bill for it, since your company was the one that committed multiple errors. That way, you might actually make a believer out of him, and in the process, persuade others who read this thread that your company is committed to doing right by its customers.

    Just a suggestion.

Don't waste your money on Ayudos! You will get no success rate as they will take your money and run. As soon as you pay for their crowdfunding promotion service, you will never hear from them! They never delivered on the featured promotion I paid for and after sending them 6 emails to find out why they didn't deliver and were not answering, I gave up. They are HORRIBLE! And this is my only recourse.I have seen numerous complaints all over the new about these scam artists. STAY AWAY!

    Hello Sean,

We sent you a refund last September. We tried emailing and calling you several times to settle and send you a refund but you never responded.

We have had a few complaints , but we have also helped nearly 1,000 crowdfunding projects in the 2 years since we began blogging and promoting for other projects , many of them have been very successful and have hundreds of satisfied clients since then .

You can check our site and blog to see all of the projects we have featured as well as many positive reviews online.
Let the readers be the judges.
