I have a physical product related to footwear that I will soon launch on Kickstarter. I haven't revealed it yet because I understand there is higher potential to get good PR from a good blog / site if you offer them an exclusive story. Anyone have experience with that? And most importantly, if I offer an exclusive physical product reveal, what would be the best sites to approach first? Mashable, Tech Crunch, etc.? If you could have your dream kickstarter promotion, who would you want giving it?
