Celtic band recording 1st album on KS

    by zahatarmusic » Wed Jun 11, 2014 4:08 pm

    Hi all,

My name is Chris and I wanted to share a very special Kickstarter project with you all. The Celtic string band Zahatar is recording a series of tunes from Charles de Lint's urban fantasy novel The Little Country. This is a project that is very near and dear to us and we hope to spread the word far and wide about it. It's a unique combination of art, photography, music, and literature that we think appeals to a wide variety of folks. Please check it out if you get a chance. Thanks, all. Take care.

Congrats on passing the 50% mark. Is this your first campaign? Has it been what you expected?

It is indeed our first campaign. So far, most things have gone as expected. One thing that is difficult to gauge at this point is follow-through on promised pledges that haven't happened yet. Seems like quite an attrition rate among people who respond that they will pledge and people who actually do. But the remainder of the campaign will tell us for sure! :-)

Ah, true. I also hear a lot that there is a surge towards the end as those individuals who promised to pledge finally do.
