What is the worst advice you've received about Kickstarter?

Has anyone gotten any bad advice about Kickstarter or crowdfunding? Personally, when I first started blogging (CrowdCrux), I remember reading an article about how it was a "good idea" to run multiple crowdfunding campaigns at the same time. I think that's the worst advice I've received.

The worst advice we received was that we should just go with the flow.
Ofcourse we did not follow it, and have been trying to generate interest around our products on various platforms!

Going with the flow is okay if you have a super innovative product that is 10x anything on the market and has an established problem-solution, but even then, I feel like the creator would want to raise as much as possible (assuming they can handle the manufacturing).

Glad to see you've been working to market it!
