So I need someone to clarify something for me. I have backed the project in the link below and I don't really understand how backers will be rewarded. I mean in general, how do Kickstarter backers get rewarded? Do they receive the product without having to pay the retail price? Or what exactly? For instance, say I pledged for the $55 or more, from my understanding I will receive the case and charger at the color of my choice. When the project gets funded will I have to pay a retail price on top of the amount I just sent or will the amount I backed be enough and will get the product regardless of how much I supported them with because I helped with the funding.

After the campaign is completed, you will receive a survey that the creator sends out for your contact information (shipping). You will then receive the reward that you pledged once it is produced. You do not have to pay a retail price above that.

At that tier, you would receive "one (1) AUGMENT Case and one (1) AUGMENT Charge in the colors of your choice at 15% off the future retail price [$65USD]. Estimated delivery: Aug 2014. Add $10 USD to ship outside the US" You would make those choices via the Kickstarter survey the creator sends out upon completion of the campaign.

When will the surveys be sent out? When the amount they pledged for has been reached?

When the funding duration is completed (if they hit their goal).
