Blood Doctrine is a fast-paced suspense thriller from author Christian Piatt with rich scientific and theological overtones. Inspired by a combination of the interest in the so-called “Jesus tomb” in Jerusalem and groundbreaking possibilities involving evolutionary genetics, the question is posed:

Congrats on almost reaching 100 backers. That is impressive! . Have you learned anything from running the campaign?

Just shy of 100. But thanks! So far, I think the couple of things I've discovered are:

1. There's a bump at the beginning and supposedly toward the very end, but in the middle, things slow down.

2. Nothing is as effective as the direct (by name) personal ask.
