    Looking for short term rental

    by SsCoobyDoO » Mon Nov 25, 2024 11:19 am

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, so this is my first post. I have been reading, with great interest, many of the posts about the Costa Blanca area, and although I've only visited the area twice last year I loved being there. With this in mind I have been considering a short term rental for a couple of months, April and May this year, and was wondering if anyone had a property in the area which they would like to rent. A two bedroom property would be ideal, but I will consider anything.

My name is Charlie, I am 72 years young, and I live in Shropshire. I have friends who live in Torreveija, that I saw last year for the first time in about 46 years, one of the reasons I would like to stay in the area.

Thank you, in advance, for reading this and for any suggestions or advice offered.

    Charlie

    Hi

Although our own property is too large for just one person and already booked for most of the time you are looking to rent, I just wanted to say that please ensure the property you are renting is a legal holiday let, if so it will have a Tourist License. There are a number of websites you can try such as Vrbo and Holidaylettings but obviously they incur booking fees but they do verify that the properties advertised are Licensed and offer the renter a good degree of protection and insurance. There are many facebook pages that advertise holiday lets, and all legitimate ads should include a Tourist License number but always worth asking them to verify but providing extra details as well as the number (a License number in Torrevieja area will follow this format: VT-123456-A).

I know from my own skin that finding a good short-term rental can be tricky, especially for a couple of months. If you’re open to browsing listings outside of traditional sites, axonproperties.ca has some decent options for short stays, and, as far as I know, they sometimes offer more flexibility for unique situations like this.
