Hia I have an Acquired Brain Injury. I have had this for over forty years.

But it was only when I was referred to a Psychologist for depression that I was told about this. I have had tests to confirm of my ABI

Some days I can cope with the trials and tribulations of life. Other days I just want to curl up and move into another world.

If need be I will go into more detail if this helps🙏

I know a few people who have gone through something similar. It’s a mixed experience – some days feel alright, other days can be rough. One friend found that going to an addiction treatment centre that also understood brain injuries made a huge difference. They got help with not just the physical stuff but also managing emotions and daily frustrations.
