Hi All,

I only have two books published, with a third on the way early next year. Unfortunately, they are all standalones.

I have a website for my other two books with little action. Maybe a sign-up to my mailing list once every few months.

It seems to me that I could do much better on Instagram.

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

I completely agree with the commenters above. You should promote your author's site using other platforms. All popular brands use this method of advertising their products. It's much easier to gain an audience on Instagram or TikTok and sell them something than selling the same thing using a different site. If you understand the principles of Instagram's algorithms, it will be very easy for you to promote your book. To get started, I suggest you learn how to repost on instagram - 1394ta. At least for my industry (food industry) social media such as instagram, facebook and twitter has much more power in terms of sales and promo when compared to our website. Hope this helps.

Hi all, I too support the need to promote my own website. But most of all, if I were you, I would target social media such as facebook and instagram. Especially on metaproducts, because the return on advertising is crazy, if you set it up right, of course. But I would also use twitter and reddit to promote my site.

If you want your books to sell well, then sign up for Tik Tok, go to the view sales service and get some views for your tik tok video with your books. You way users will be more likely to pay attention to your ads, which will probably interest them enough to want to buy them. The scheme is simple, but for that very working, as seen on other forums, examples of this method and people say it works at all 120%.

Depends on your audience? I imagine Instagram for <55 and Website for >55.
