On Wednesday morning January 6, 2021, I will be launching a Kickstarter to fund my first picture book. This picture book is titled Hilda & Richie. Our funding goal is US$3,000 and we run until late Friday night on February 5, 2021.
The book stars Hilda, a proper lady with a mansion, vast wealth...and a love of blowing bubble gum bubbles! When Richie (Hilda's young ward) sees her doing this, he wants to join in on the bubble blowing fun. And things start to get messy...
I've had experience drawing comics and have switched over to trying picture books; I draw in a funny style and my pictures communicate quickly on the page. If all goes well, there will be more Hilda & Richie books as a second one is getting scripted right now.
