Greetings,

We are setting up our campaign on Kickstarter’s back end as a company (not as an individual).

Kickstarter is requesting that we indicate shareholders owning more than 25% of our company. The company owners are not all living in the same country where our firm is incorporated.

I don’t know if this is an issue for Kickstarter. I contacted their customer support for a week but got no answer.

We do comply with Kickstarter’s requirements: our company is registered in the country where we are launching our Kickstarter. The person that registered the campaign is a citizen of the country where we are incorporated and is working for our company.

I am just confused with this shareholder thing.

I would be glad if someone could shine some light on this issue.

I have received a reply from Kickstarter. Additional company owners don't have to live in the same country as where the project is run.
