    My Second Ever Campaign

    by WendyatPP » Tue Oct 30, 2018 6:57 pm

    Hi everyone :D

Firstly can some explain why my URLs don’t seem to want to work haha  I’ll edit it to work when I know.

My campaign has been live 5 days. In the first 72hrs I raised 25% from family, now I’m up to 39% with a couple of conversions coming from Instagram. I spoke to someone else about places to find backers and they said Instagram was the worst for conversions. This posses a bit of. Problem for me as I have 15000 followers between my 2 accounts and thought most backers would come from there. Turns out most don’t even know how to use Kickstarter.

I’m experiencing a lull now and getting worried but I won’t get disheartened. It’s already doing miles better than my first campaign last year which didn’t even reach 25% in 30 days. I feel I’ve come on leaps and bounds in terms of business knowledge and I feel I’m only just finding my stride.

I’d love to get to know this community because I’d like this to be the first of many successful campaigns. I don’t plan to do just this one then run away. I’m looking to build my own community of loyal backers and grow my app through their suggestions and advice.

I strongly believe it takes a village.
