Cutting through to the heart of the matter, I'd say try (well, do you have $600 to spend on a PR campaign?) one of the press oriented crowdfunding outfits that have sprung up around Kickstarter. Google that. We checked out the granddaddy of them all, and got free pointets from just perusing their site.
