We didn't try to substitute the video with photos.
It is a video dominated by still images. It is wholly ineffective. The short bits with the woman narrating do not make up for the video's basic shortcomings. The man featured in the video has no actual video part. Pictures of him are used. The viewer gets no idea of his acting ability, that way.
The project page is visually boring. So is the video. Thus, upon what are you banking the project's success?
