Modern Memories Coin Rings and Necklaces

    by Jwetherill » Thu Apr 24, 2014 12:47 pm

    Hello Friends,

My name is Jeff Wetherill. I am looking to start up my long time love of Metal Smithing. I have recently been creating rings and necklaces using state coins and world coins. Whats cooler then taking a piece of history or a coin dated with a historic event and making it into a work of art that you can enjoy forever. My project "Modern Memories" is all about hand making art and history. Whats a greater conversation starter then a ring made from a quarter from 1942. I ask that you please support my project and support something I truly love. HERES MY PAGE https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/19 ... -necklaces

Cool project. Would definitely recommend making a video if you get the chance.

Hi, I would suggest you fix the way you wrote your first 3 rewards they are ultimately the same thing. The first one is more valuable at one dollar than the 15 dollar one. If possible something more personal, like I started out metal smithing etc. Or a video on how you do it might be great. Also in your risks/challenges you note that you dont have the ability or space to create a large amount of rings. Maybe you should come up with a sound back up/contingency plan, so people could feel confident that they will actually get there products, because I like them, but that would turn me away. And last you put "free ring" its not really free since you're pledging you might want to edit that too. My project isnt doing that great and I havent been getting much feedback so I hope this helps you.
    Good luck
