Survivors are left to rot on the scorched earth while others that were lucky enough, or had money to bribe their way in, reside in the Golden City. BOARD GAMING: The strong theme and intensity of competition comes through thanks to the great art and the constant motion of the game. Random game board/tile setup keeps the game different each time you play and the player boards with the dials (a la King of Tokyo) is a nice touch that’s just cool.

BOARD GAME QUEST: Raid and Trade ended up being a fairly unique game that boasts a lot of player interaction. Between the resources, the trading and the crafting, I almost felt like I was playing in a post-apocalyptic version of The Settlers of Catan where not everyone is nice anymore.

THEOLOGY OF GAMES: We've given you a taste of the game play here, but as with any sandbox game the replay value is very high, and the strategic possibilities are also very high
