But I agree completely about helping other creators reach their goal as well. Why should we expect people to back our projects if we're not willing to do the same. We are all trying to make our dreams come true. It would be a lot easier to do so if we all helped each other out more.

I am taking your advice about backing other projects and seeing if that will generate interest. We have a project that I feel Comic Book enthusiasts will love, but it is in the Film section, It is hard to get their attention when they are in a different category. I will give donating to their campaigns a whirl and see if that can spark some interest.

If you're funding a film, how come you didn't use IGG? IGG feels more "arty" to me

It was a choice that we as a company made. The layout of Kickstarter is more functional and the categories under film are easily searchable so someone who is looking for a specific genre is more likely to find what they are looking for.
