Just thought that I would chime in, and share some recent thoughts with you.
Always welcome,

The crowdlogs data is a little dated, currently listing your project at 17 backers pledging a total of 623 pounds. Your Kickstarter project page shows your project to currently have 29 backers pledging a total of 1,005 pounds
I will check that out
Charles wrote:Here's something about the Crowdlogs data, though. Of that figure, 72% of the pledges at that point were for 50 pounds or more. That signifies a certain degree of strength of support.
That is because I have a time-limited reward aimed directly at the orchestra members - a signed and personalised, first edition score - for 50 pounds. Only available at that price for the first 72 hours.
Charles wrote:On your Kickstarter project page, your project is currently listed at 133 shares. That aspect of your data isn't a bad start. I would encourage you to keep doing frequent updates. So far, your Comments section has only a single comment, and it is from this forum's very own admin, Salvador Briggman. The Updates and Comments numbers are not meaningless, Andy. I see so many Kickstarter campaigns basically treat those numbers with disregard. Personally, i think that the higher those numbers are, the better off your campaign will be.
Update is easy to do - but how do we increase shares and comments? By asking backers to comment?
Charles wrote:KIcktraq lists your project as a 29 day project. I think that you may end up leaving a lot of cash on the table, as your footwork ahead of time will bear fruit beyond that time, if allowed to thrive. But, that's merely a comment in passing, since you can't change that at this point.
Kickstarter research shows that projects under 30 days have a better chance of succeeding - that, plus the fact that we need to get the piece written and rehearsed before the premiere on 7th December, somewhat forced my hand.
Charles wrote:The Kicktraq data is current for your project, as I look at it, right now. Your project needs an average of 482 pounds per day to succeed, at this point. I really think that the numbers-to-date at this early juncture in time are not good indicators of where your funding will end up at. The bulk of your core crowd hasn't made its impact, yet.
Kicktraq data is a little frustrating at the moment, as we are not in sync - £14.500 over 29 day campaign is £500 per day - in less than 48 hours we are £1090 - £545 per day - but according to Kickstarter and Kicqtraq we are on day 3 so £363 per day! That will even itself out over time, but bit disappointing when you go to bed trending success and wake to trending failure
And you are right that we still have a lot of inertia to overcome from supporters - which is time-consuming to say the least - glad we have a team on this - I don't know how sole project creators cope!!
Cheers
Andy
