    Become A Music Angel !!!

    by andy111 » Mon Jun 09, 2014 1:50 pm

A Mercury Prize nominated record producer inspired by the use of ‘Angel’ investors to fund theatre productions, is offering a do-not-miss opportunity for Music fans to become 'Music Angels' and help showcase the talent of the UK's most promising new artists and bands.
Launched on crowd-funding website ‘Kickstarter’, the compilation album ‘Music Angels Presents…Volume One’ will feature 10 original tracks by the cream of new contemporary Pop, Rock and Jazz solo artists and bands selected by producer Andy Ross and an industry panel of experts. The album will be recorded at Ross’s Astar Studios near Manchester, ranked among Europe’s top 4 recording studios and released with a full press and media campaign. A rising scale of patron benefits from Bronze to Platinum range from receiving a copy of the album to having your name in the CD artwork, to attending a recording session.

Typically, I only see projects begin to take off when they already have some backers via family and friends. If you can't convince a friend or family to put a few dollars into the project, it's much harder to do so with a stranger. See that you are at 0 backers at the moment. What kind of objections have you gotten from family and friends?
